Senior Accounting & Compliance Consultant

You will be part of the VS Consulting finance team that works closely with CEOs of start-ups and scale-ups to help them address critical challenges and transform their finance processes.

Typically, you will:

• implement and maintain effective accounting processes for our clients,
• handle every aspect of accounting (AP, AR, Bank reconciliation, GL etc.) with assistance from other team members,
• manage/coordinate month-end and quarter-end close,
• provide accurate information to the Business Control team to enable them to prepare dashboards and reports,
• ensure tax returns (VAT, CIT and WHT) are filed on time and that all client compliance requests (statutory accounts, TP filing etc.) are met,
• assist our clients with various types of audits (financial, tax, internal), as required,
• assist with digitalisation projects and the automation of accounting processes.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting (or any other related field) or equivalent with at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position in an international environment,
• is a good communicator and can express themselves fluently in French and English,
• is detail-orientated, organised and flexible and able to work independently, and
• is also a team player who can work well with all internal and external stakeholders.
